Paste the Connector URL into ChatGPT’s Server URL field (Plugins › Add › Add custom MCP server).

Step by step

Connect, then start building.

Six tiny steps: add Magif.ai as a custom MCP server in ChatGPT, create your free Magif account, then paste one prompt and ChatGPT starts building your first agent.

Open Plugins

In ChatGPT’s left icon rail, click Plugins. The “Open ChatGPT” buttons on this page take you straight there.

Add a custom MCP server

Click “Add” (top right), then “Add custom MCP server”. ChatGPT opens a short form.

Fill in the form

  1. 1Name: Type Magif
  2. 2Server URL: Paste your connector link
  3. 3Authentication: Keep OAuth

Icon and Description are optional. Leave Advanced OAuth settings as they are: ChatGPT reads them from Magif.ai on its own.

Tick the box, then Create as a plugin

At the bottom of the same form, ChatGPT shows an amber notice, “Custom MCP servers introduce risk,” and a checkbox that reads: “Only connect to MCP servers you trust. An untrusted server may access or steal information shared through app use, or trick ChatGPT into using tools in unintended ways, including changing or deleting data.”

ChatGPT shows this for every custom server that isn’t in its own directory. It isn’t about anything ChatGPT detected in Magif.ai.

What this connector can and cannot access

  • What it requests: A single OAuth scope, connector, and no ChatGPT-side scopes. This lets ChatGPT invoke Magif.ai’s connector tools for your Magif.ai account only. It does not grant Magif.ai access to your ChatGPT account, email, files, or anything else in ChatGPT.
  • What it can see: Magif.ai receives the requests and details ChatGPT sends when you use the connector, not your ChatGPT account, your other conversations, or your device.
  • What it can do: Every request is authenticated and resolves to your account only. The tools read data from your own account and can create, update, or delete only agents you own. They cannot access or modify another user’s data.
  • What lasts: Only delete_agent permanently deletes an entire agent, and only one you own, on a paid account.

See every tool and its access level below. You can remove the connector and revoke access anytime from ChatGPT’s Plugins settings.

Tick “I understand and want to continue,” then click Create as a plugin.

Continue to Magif and connect

ChatGPT shows a “Connect Magif” screen. Click Continue to Magif.

Magif.ai opens in a new tab. New here? Create your free Magif account with your email and a password. Free account, no card. Then click Connect as your email, and you’re back in ChatGPT.

Already signed in to magif.ai in this browser? You skip straight to the one-click Connect. The agents you build land in your Magif account.

Now just tell ChatGPT what to build

Back in ChatGPT, Magif now sits under Installed. Click Try in chat to open a new chat with @Magif ready, or @-mention Magif in one you’re already having, and paste the prompt below. The first time ChatGPT uses Magif it asks “Allow ChatGPT to use Magif?”: choose Always allow. ChatGPT builds your agent, publishes it, and hands you a shareable link to test.
